The Belt Dress

The Belt Dress

The Belt Dress—our founder John’s first foray into dressmaking, and naturally, he did it the only way that made sense: by throwing out the rulebook. Belts became fabric, suspenders became structure, and the whole thing morphed into a shape-shifting creation that fit whoever dared to wear it. Functional, rebellious, and built to last. Maria took it down the runway like a woman on a mission, closing the show with a finale no one will forget. Hell of a way to make an entrance.

Curl Couture

Curl Couture

Spun from timber, inspired by dance: Say hello to “Curl Couture,” introduced at Bentonville Fashion Week. John used his wood- and leather-craft skills to design a dress inspired by model Kadey Copeland and her love for dance.

This sculptural dress is made entirely from bent wood veneer, looped and layered like a faerie’s spell. Inspired by the swirling weightlessness of a ballerina’s tutu and the wild elegance of faerie folklore, Curl Couture blurs the line between garment and myth.

Crafted from hand-shaped cherry and maple veneer and fastened with our brass bag hardware, it floats with impossible lightness—yet it’s rooted in raw, natural material. It’s fashion as sculpture. Costume as story. A dress as delicate and untamed as the woods that birthed it.

Leshaya

Leshaya

Meet Leshaya — our sculptural ode to Russian folklore.

Inspired by the Leshy, guardian spirit of the forest, this dress was designed for and inspired by Anna Sanders, the model who wore it, who was born in Russia and raised in Arkansas by her adoptive parents.

Bent from Russian Tatar maple veneer and wrapped in leather, it spirals like bark enlivened by the spirits — protective, wild, and deeply rooted in cultural heritage. Anna herself added the moss elements to her wooden clogs and hair to complete the look.

Leshaya is a myth made wearable.
A reminder that the forest sees you — and sometimes, walks beside you.
